PEPSI launched 4th STAR WARS campaign!

PEPSI Corresponding to the video "STAR WARS WPISODE I" released in March, PEPSI launched the STAR WARS campaign. PEPSI has been in continuous SW campaign since last June and this will be the 4th one.

Pepsi have been providing fascinating prizes called "can-holder" and "bottle-cap" in those serial campaign. In this time BATTLE-DROID , one of the weakest enemy in whole movie, was employed as a character for can holder.

Similar to the previous ones, PEPSI introduces complicated system in the present campaign. Each can/bottle have 1-point sticker and you can get BATTLE-DROID can-holder for 50 point. In addition if you find "win" mark when peeling off the sticker, you can also get one.

If you're not lucky enough to get instant win, as is often the case, yet the chance still remains. Subscribe 5 "lose" mark and you may get 10 BATTLE-DROID bottle cap plus STAR WARS original cooler box. That's a lot of staff!

PEPSI also released special-issue cans from the beginning of March. At these new-style cans, the higher and lower part of 6 different characters is printed separately [picture] . According to PEPSI consumer service All 12 cans are on market at the same time, which make it easier for collectors to complete their collection.

STAR WARS campaign was, without any doubt, the most successful one in Japan's beverage market in 1999. Now the boom has almost died down, and impact of campaign is getting smaller. To find the new charisma would be the must to become the winner in the first summer of the new millennium.
