PEPSI's superhero, PEPSI-MAN, finally returned. PEPSI started 3rd PEPSI-MAN bottle cap campaign from May 23rd. He had been in more than a year absence because of the PEPSI's continuous STAR WARS campaign.

PEPSI-MAN is a PEPSI's original character first appeared in 1996 and getting popularity among for his "Cool and a little boneheaded" character. PEPSI has produced eager campaigns with him since he first appeared. The bottle cap campaigns, which the giveaway of bottle cap with small PEPSI-MAN figure on top comes for every purchase of 500ml PEPSI, were the most successful one above all. The first and second bottle cap campaigns were held in 1999 winter and spring in 2000, respectively.

The new series is called "PEPSI-MAN in Accident". In this case, PEPSI-MAN's boneheaded aspect seems to be more emphasized than ever. This brand new series is made up of 15 different bottle caps with PEPSI-MAN doing something stupid. They seem quite funny indeed.
