Virgin's Launch Event at Shinjuku

Virgin Cola's launch event was held on April 23 at Shinjyuku Station Square, one of the most popular spots in Tokyo. As it started at 11:30AM, three long-legged pierrot came onto the stage. They made some sort of shapes and insects with baloons and gave them away to the audiences. Stage was sorrounded by full of people. At noon, a huge automatic vending machine was introduced, which was 7 meters (21 ft.) high, Richard Branson came out of it with smokes! He drank Virgin on the stage and handed some Virgin Colas to the audiences by himself. After he went out to attend a TV show, the event continued for more 30 minutes to gave some presents to the audiences. This giveaway event was held some times at that day. Many people in Japan can know about this event because it was widely introduced in TV news. With the powerful sales channes of Pokka and stong brand image of Virgin Group, Virgin Cola challenges to settle in Japan. We are very interested in coming COLA WARS in this summer.
