PEPSI has been in the cereal campaign with STAR WARS EPISODE I since last summer and launched the 3rd one "2000 Celebration" from the end of 1999. In this time, PEPSI somehow set the famous, but not quite a hero as his company, robot "C-3PO" in the center of this millennium campaign. The prize is "C-3PO Sound Big Bottle Cap"

"Sound Big Bottle Cap" is one of the most popular prizes among PEPSI collectors in Japan. This amazing bottle accessory was first appeared in 1999, which is of the PEPSI's super-hero "PEPSI-MAN". This C-3PO is the second one with playback function in the PEPSI-COLA bottle cap collection.

This 6-inch-tall plastic figure was made to be equipped on the top of 500ml PEPSI PET. It also has an electric devices in the body and replays "STAR WAS's theme" music through the speaker equipped on his back (The music lasts only for some 10 second, though).

In the movie C-3PO has not been finished his armoring, and the bottle cap faithfully reflects it on its appearance. The wiring and mechanicals in uncovered part are made to the details and the quality is as high as the figures on the market. Each bottle cap comes with golden presentation box.

Though the campaign has finished in March, it is relatively easy to find it in flea market or collectors shop (price: 2500-4000yen in general).
